I love chocolate and I rarely go a day without eating any but I only eat very dark chocolate. I find that eating chocolate that contains a high amount of cocoa curbs my cravings better than eating those with lower cocoa content. Also, now that I´m used to eating very dark chocolate, the lighter versions just taste like sugar and have become very unappealing! If you´re not used to eating dark chocolate, start by eating slightly darker than what you are used to, and progressively move darker! Combining it with banana like in this recipe takes the bitterness away! Enjoy xxx
1/2 cup of high quality dark chocolate
1 tablespoon of coconut oil
Nut butter (optional)
Slice one banana in coin shapes and put on baking paper and stick it in the freezer for 20 minutes.
Combine 1/2 cup of chocolate with the coconut oil and melt it in double boil
Dip frozen banana slices in the chocolate mixture and refreeze them for 20 minutes.
Add nut butter before chocolate dip if you wish! I love mixing it with almond butter! :)
