Beyond my training in nutrition, I am also a qualified Pilates Instructor with nearly 10 years teaching experience. I undertook my first Pilates teacher training with Core Body Academy in 2008 and then deepened my knowledge a few years later with Balanced Body, one of the leaders in Pilates teacher training and manufacturer of Pilates equipment. I have since taken part in several workshops around the World and trained with some of the best teachers including, Chris Robinson, Moses Urbano, Murat Berkin, Frank Zito, Peter Fiasca and two of the "torch bearers" who were trained by Joseph Pilates himself: Joe Grimes and Lolita San Miguel.
I love teaching Pilates and for me it is the epitome of smart movement. It´s a functional exercise program that is adapted to each individual's needs in order to improve posture and to give more strength, flexibility, mobility and control & truly make the body feel great. But most importantly, it provides the practitioner with a better understanding of their body´s functioning and its unique needs and this empowers them to look after it better. In my work as a Health Coach, I help my clients gain access to that knowledge so that they become the experts of their own bodies and are able to care for it in a way that supports their wellbeing and helps prevent injury. Again, it´s about giving YOU the knowledge and support to choose the type of exercise that is best suited for YOUR unique needs.
